The Review Framework
Talome House selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.
The framework applies identically to body care formulations and daily supplement complexes. The two product lines follow the same review sequence, though the specific criteria for each category differ given the nature of the ingredients reviewed.
Initial Formulation Identification
Products are identified for potential listing through a structured review of formulations available from independent manufacturers operating in the United Kingdom and Europe. The selection team reviews available ingredient information from publicly accessible sources as a preliminary step before requesting full documentation from the supplier.
Supplier Documentation Request
A formal documentation request is submitted to the supplier covering: complete ingredient list (INCI nomenclature for body care products, nutrient profile for supplements), raw material origin documentation, and manufacturing location. Responses are reviewed within ten working days of receipt. Where documentation is incomplete, the listing is paused pending further correspondence.
Ingredient Composition Review
The formulation's ingredient list is reviewed against published nutritional and cosmetic ingredient research. For body care products, the review focuses on emollient profile, botanical extract sourcing, and compatibility with the plant-derived base criteria. For supplements, the review covers nutrient concentration, bioavailability data referenced in independent nutritional literature, and the absence of undisclosed additives.
Catalogue Entry Preparation
Once the ingredient review is complete and documentation is on record, the catalogue entry is prepared. The entry includes: product name, category, full ingredient notation, key ingredient highlights, format and volume details, and the sourcing documentation status. Entries are internally reviewed before publication.
Quarterly Review Cycle
All active catalogue listings are re-reviewed at quarterly intervals. The review confirms that no significant formulation change has occurred since the initial listing, that sourcing documentation remains on record, and that the supplier has not disclosed any change in raw material origins. Reformulated products are returned to step 02.
Body Care Sourcing Standards
Body care formulations reviewed for the Talome House catalogue are assessed against the following sourcing criteria. Raw material documentation must cover the botanical or synthetic origin of each emollient, extract, and preservative present at a concentration above 0.1% in the finished formulation.
Formulations are reviewed to confirm a plant-derived emollient base. Where synthetic emollients are present, documentation is required confirming the manufacturing source and any relevant safety assessments completed by the manufacturer. Botanical extracts sourced from certified independent suppliers are noted in the catalogue record.
Products in the Talome House catalogue are selected based on published ingredient research and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing.
Supplement Sourcing Standards
Daily supplement complexes and vitamin ranges reviewed for the catalogue are assessed for nutrient sourcing documentation. The review covers: nutrient origin (synthesised or plant-extracted), concentration per daily intake unit, and the presence or absence of significant formulation component compounds.
Supplements are reviewed against nutrient reference values published in accessible nutritional literature. The review focuses on everyday nutritional variety and does not assess the suitability of any supplement for any specific individual requirement. Each nutrient in a listed supplement is cross-referenced against available sourcing documentation.
The supplement selection process applies to the vitamins 50+ range with additional review of the nutritional emphasis of the formulation against published independent literature for that population context.
Full Ingredient Notation
Every catalogue entry includes the complete ingredient list as supplied by the manufacturer. Where the supplier has provided additional documentation on raw material origins, this is summarised in the listing record. The Talome House catalogue does not abridge or edit ingredient lists — the complete notation from the supplier is used.
Commercial Relationship Disclosure
The selection team discloses any commercial relationship with a manufacturer before the review of that manufacturer's products begins. Where a commercial relationship exists — including any previous consultancy, reviewing work, or direct commercial arrangement — the review is completed by a team member without that relationship, or the listing is declined.
Catalogue Corrections
Where a listing is found to contain an error in the ingredient notation or sourcing summary, the correction is made and noted in the catalogue record with the date of amendment. Where a formulation has changed significantly since listing, the entry is updated or withdrawn. Correction notices are retained in the record for a minimum of twelve months.

- Daily wellness context — not specific outcome claims
Talome House selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.
Products listed in the Talome House catalogue are presented for informational purposes and reflect the selection team's observations on everyday body care and wellness supplement routines. The catalogue is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Individuals with specific requirements are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional before introducing any new routine.
Ingredient assessments reference publicly available nutritional and cosmetic ingredient literature. Where conflicting information exists in the literature, both perspectives are noted in the internal review record and the more conservative position is adopted for the catalogue entry.
Where feasible, ingredient claims made by a manufacturer are cross-referenced against independently available ingredient data. The catalogue notes where manufacturer claims and independently available data are in alignment, and where they differ in material respects.
The reference standards used in the review process are themselves reviewed annually. Where published nutritional or cosmetic ingredient research is significantly updated, the review criteria are updated accordingly, and existing listings are re-assessed against the revised criteria at the next quarterly review.
